You are invited to watch the much-acclaimed documentary film ‘2040’ at Cairns Church, Milngavie, Glasgow on Thursday 21 October at 7pm.

The film addresses the big issues around climate change and ecological breakdown.
Australian filmmaker Damon Gameau envisages what the world will be like for his young daughter in 2040. He travels the world in search of new solutions to the climate change challenges. The film does not scold us. It is both challenging and hopeful…

At the end of the film, Ross Greer, Scottish Green MSP and someone who grew up locally, will chair a Q&A session.

There are two ways that you can attend this event:
1. Watch it with others at Cairns Church
2. Watch it from your home via zoom (the
whole evening will be live streamed)

Please click on the Cairns Church website (www.cairnschurch.org.uk/film2040.htm) to register your attendance – either in person or virtually! (Please note that the numbers
allowed to attend in person are restricted due to Covid). The film runs for 1.5 hours.

All are welcome and the event is free (donations will be gratefully received to cover costs).
