Fire and Flood is a community-driven production exploring the effects of climate-based disasters on LGBTQI+ communities, from the Queer Ecojustice Project.

The film focuses on the lives and the experiences of the LGBTQ+ people who survived the devastating effects of the 2017 Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and the fires of Santa Rosa, California. Offering a perspective often missed by mainstream film and media, Fire and Flood is an inspirational tale of community, hope, empowerment, mobilisation, and queer and trans resilience.

This is an online event and the screening will begin at 6 pm on Thursday 4th of February.

Further details to be emailed following registration.

This is a “sneak peek” of the film while it is still in the production process, this screening provides funds to support the queer ecojustice project to continue their work.

The Queer Eco Project is currently accepting donations to fund further filming. To donate go to: https://opencollective.com/firefloodfilmfund .
