Event Details

We all know that the UK stores its nuclear weapons at Faslane, against the strong wishes of the Scottish people. But do you know how those weapons get to Faslane? Or how highly explosive material is regularly carried up and down from Faslane to Aldermaston and back?

One of the great scandals of the pandemic is that, while the rest of us were locked down and respecting stay-at-home requirements, nuclear convoys continued to travel along Scottish roads – at a time when no hospital could have coped with the consequences if there had been a nuclear accident.

Come along to this discussion event hosted by Stirling CND, together with NukeWatch UK and Scottish CND, to learn more about the threat of nuclear convoys to Scotland’s people and our environment & to find out what you can do about it.
