- Trial an eBike on our special course (or try on your own bike)
- Speak to the Pioneer Project about their work building local food resilience
- Take a led walk* along Fisherman’s Walk for a tour round the Cladach Community Gardens (*email [email protected] to pre-book)
- 1pm – Bring along your own picnic to have at our “Low Carbon Lunch”
- 2pm – join a beach clean & data collection of beach litter
- ‘TAP (Think About Plastic – Arran), Scotland’s first plastic ‘free’ community & island will be sharing ideas about how you can help reduce the plastic in the sea around Arran (or wherever you live)
- Info on reducing food waste & saving money whilst helping the environment
- Seed/seedling/pot swap & pop up shop!
- Learn about sustainable seafood & blue carbon from the experts at COAST
- Hear about the plans to make part of Arran a UNESCO world heritage site
- Chat to some folks from the newly founded Arran Repair Cafe – they’re looking for volunteers with the time & skills
- Hear about the carbon audits & net-zero work that has been going on with local farmers
