The pandemic has hugely impacted our ability to gather for both social events and to organise against climate change. The arts have always enabled us to tackle pressing social issues through imagination and experimentation, and climate change is no different – that’s why we’ve created the Climate Cabaret! By commissioning artists to create work about climate change and perform it live in an online virtual cabaret, we can bring people together, spark conversations, and bring new audiences to the climate movement.
Taking centre stage in your living room, our cast of poets, drag performers, burlesque artists, and musicians have prepared pieces about everything from plastic pollution to climate justice. And any money raised from ticket sales will go straight back into building even more climate action.
