Climate Café

Climate Cafés are organised by Low Carbon Oxford North, a registered charity (www.lcon.org.uk), and co-hosted by Extinction Rebellion Oxford and XR Bristol. Everyone is welcome!

The organisers think their Climate Cafés offer something different and valuable. They are facilitated – so you can be sure that there will be space for you to speak. They are not designed to recruit you to do anything or to put you under any pressure. The idea behind them is that talking about climate change is really important – though this can often be made more difficult by feelings of guilt that we are not doing enough, or frustration that others are not doing enough.

So they provide a space in which the focus is not on what we or others are or aren’t doing; instead we simply talk about climate change and how it is making us think and feel.

Please arrive in good time for the group to start at 16.30. To ensure everyone has time to talk and be heard, the numbers are capped at 12.
