Event Details

A Conversation with renowned author Alastair McIntosh and international mediator and author Ken Cloke, facilitated by John Sturrock.

About this Event

A Conversation with renowned author and human ecologist, Alastair McIntosh (Soil and Soul; Hell and High Water; Poacher’s Pilgrimage, and the forthcoming Riders on the Storm about our response to the climate emergency) and international mediator and author Ken Cloke (Mediating Dangerously; Politics, Dialogue and the Evolution of Democracy, and The Crossroads of Conflict; founder of Mediators Beyond Borders).

The event will be facilitated by John Sturrock QC who comments: “This promises to be an invigorating and challenging evening with two of the most radical and inspiring thinkers of this era, both prophetic in their own way. Of all the people I know, Alastair and Ken show unparalleled insight and courage in facing up to the difficult questions. The challenge facing us now, with the unimaginable coronavirus pandemic and climate change occurring faster than many anticipated, is as much psychological and spiritual as it is material and political. How should we respond?”

We are delighted to host this event online in lieu of the postponed March event.
