We are excited to have Alex Leferna join us for our series of interactive talks on the climate emergency, environmentalism and Green politics. Alex will be discussing the links between climate justice and a green new deal must be global in nature.
The format will be an introductory talk by Alex, followed by a Q&A. We will then finish off in breakout rooms to have more interactive discussions in smaller groups.

About the Speaker
Alex Lenferna is a climate justice campaigner with 350Africa.org. He serves as secretary of the South African Climate Justice Coalition and holds a PhD focused on climate justice from the University of Washington. He is a first generation South African whose family hails from the small island nation of Mauritius. His work, research and writing is available at AlexLenferna.com
