Event Details

This event is organised by Extreme Hangout, as part of their COP 26 Programme, taking place on Day 6: Nature first: Biodiversity, ecosystems, and the climate crisis.

Co-founder of Stop Ecocide Canada, Jamie Hunter, is featured as panelist alongside Diana Lopera, Durlabh Ashok, and Diwi Valiente. Jamie is a 21 year-old environmental advocate and activist based in Nelson, BC. and co-founder of the Canadian branch of the Stop Ecocide campaign.
Climate change has already had an outsized impact upon the world. There is not one solution and a multivariate approach that incorporates socio-economic transformation and a new international legal framework is essential. Join this panel to hear from young leaders more about how the climate crisis can be collectively addressed and overcome through global and unprecedented solutions.
