Community Summer Clean Ups!

This Summer join Irvine Clean Up Crew and the Scottish Maritime Museum for a series of Litter Picks (11am) and Environmental Talks (12.30pm) on the first Saturday of the month.

Those who take part in all or part of this event will receive a family voucher to visit the Scottish Maritime Museum for free!

Community Summer Clean Up! Saturday 7th August

Irvine Harbourside Litter Pick, 11am 

Meeting Point: Outside the Scottish Maritime Museum Reception (The Linthouse Building). 

For our first event we’ll be tidying up the Harbourside. All ages welcome! Bags, gloves and litter pickers provided. Some adults (unaccompanied by children) will be litter picking on the riverbanks so wear suitable footware (flat and not open toed).

We will also visit the Irvine Sea Cadets at the pontoons opposite Harbour Arts Centre as they show off their maritime skills and vessels!

Caring for Our Environment Talk, 12.30pm

Join us at the Scottish Maritime Museum, Education Room entrance at our outside seating area. This month we’ll hear from Irvine Clean Up Crew and the North Ayrshire Rangers Services about the great work they do for the urban and natural environments we live in.
