COP26 Coalition: 4th International Assembly Meeting

About this Event

The COP26 Coalition wants to ensure that the voices of communities on the frontlines of climate breakdown, particularly in the Global South, stand front and centre when world leaders finally meet for the COP26 climate talks. Building from a dynamic legacy of climate justice movements from past COPs, in this fourth meeting we will work to welcome new climate justice activists and strengthen the global climate justice movement engaged in carious levels of mobilising, campaigning, and movement building.

This International Assembly Meeting will take place on Zoom on February 4th, 2021 9am-11am UTC AND 4.30pm-6.30pm UTC. The meeting is being run twice in order to ensure international access across varying time zones. One of the main purposes of this assembly will be to discuss movement building strategies towards November of 2021, given the current health crisis.

Please register your place on the Eventbrite page so you can receive the Zoom link(s) and the details for how to join the call. The meeting at 9.00am UTC will be available in English and the meeting at 4.30pm UTC will be available in English and Spanish. Please send us a message if you have any additional language requirements.

We look forward to seeing you on the 4th February

In solidarity,
