Event Details

Outside the conference, we look forward to linking with Green Christian for a special “Day of Plenty!” in St Silas Church, near Kelvinbridge Subway station.

We are running taster sessions of “Plenty!” led by Katherine Hogg at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 3pm.

“Plenty!” is a six-week course small group discussion resource for churches which looks at the economic drivers of climate change and biodiversity loss, and seeks to uncover more about why we are facing the crisis we are in, and what we can do about it. It has been developed as part of “Joy In Enough”, a Christian initiative advocating a fair and green economy, prioritising wellbeing and the common good, in which all have enough, and which respects the boundaries of nature.

At 1.30pm you are also welcome to join Christian Meditation led by Patricia Hay from the World Community for Christian Meditation.

We are also delighted to warmly welcome Bishop Mark Strange, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, who is visiting over lunchtime during a busy day of engagements. Please join us if you are free any time from 10am to 4pm.
