Scottish congregations are looking at how their buildings may be adapted to achieve Net Zero carbon.
We are delighted to welcome Roger Curtis and Louisa Humm from the casework team of Historic Environment Scotland to share their expertise.
They will talk about energy efficiency in church buildings as well as approaches for all older structures. This will include insulation works, heating options and approaches to thermal comfort for congregations.
Historic Environment Scotland has been engaging with and encouraging faith groups and other organisations to explore how climate change affects the historic environment and what we can all do to help limit the impact.
Eco-Congregation Scotland is keen to support churches of all denominations across the country on this vital shared agenda, addressing the climate emergency and working towards Scotland as a Net Zero Nation. You can watch our previous Net Zero Carbon meetings online at any time:
- Church Heating – Practical Considerations
- Improving the Thermal Performance of Buildings
- Exploring Hybrid Heating Options
