Event Details

The Centre for Human Ecology and Enough! present The Degrowth Sessions: Planting an Economy for All. We invite climate activists and all interested folk to this series of teach-ins, where will share materials developed for our popular online course ‘Degrowth in Scotland’ for the first time in a face-to-face setting. Each session is 2 hours long and is designed to work either as a standalone or in succession. Personal belief systems are deeply connected to systemic structures of our society. In this teach-in, we look at the fundamental structures that lead us to live unsustainably and how they are connected to climate change and inequality. In the second part, we look at strategies for personal resilience, what Degrowth means on a personal level and reflect on ideas for a good life.
