Opening Evening at SaltSpace Gallery with Live Performance. 270 High Street, G4 0QT.
SaltSpace presents the opening of two exhibitions which respond to the climate crisis during Cop26: ‘Jambreen’, Australian Rainforest Erasure by Roslyn Taplin, focusing on the plight of rainforests facing potential erasure due to climate change at Tamborine Mountain in Australia, and globally, and Atelier 21, a French design-lab based in Paris, who are presenting an exposition on the history of sustainable energetic innovations, ‘The Paleo-Energetic Timeline’, to inspire people to take back these innovations as a solution for the ecological transition of tomorrow. The opening event will also host Berlin based multi-violinist, Joana Carvalhas with a sustainability themed improvised violin performance.
