Accessibility Info and COVID Safety:
Unfortunately, the Wash House Garden is not wheelchair accessible. Sincere apologies for anyone who would like to attend but can’t because of this. We will aim to book wheelchair accessible spaces for future Climate Cafes. There are basic toilets on site and there are other toilet facilities in shops and cafes nearby. Buses number 61, 255 and 240 Lanarkshire Connect stop a 1 minute walk away from the garden. There is some on-street parking close by. Please let us know about any other accessibility requirements and dietary requirements upon booking.
This event will be held outdoors to reduce COVID-19 transmission risk. Please adhere to physical distancing during the event. Please do not attend if you feel unwell, have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or have tested positive yourself. Please let us know if you can’t attend anymore. We will collect participants’ contact details for Track and Trace in line with GDPR.
Food & Climate Action in Glasgow
Over the next two years, the Food & Climate Action project will be working across the city to grow community-led activity to face the challenges that climate change will bring for us all and our food system. We are a team based across six partnered organisations including: Glasgow Community Food Network, Glasgow Eco Trust, Urban Roots, St Paul’s Youth Forum, The Space, and Central & West Integration Network. We’ll be working to support increasing urban agriculture across the city and providing training and support on food and climate issues. Come join us at one of our events or workshops or get in touch at [email protected]
Funded by the National Lottery.
