This session, the 1st on the UK pavilion, includes speakers from around the world sharing their experiences and perspectives on how forest conservation can be more effective and equitable. It will be moderated by Dr Sarobidy Rakotonarivo from Forest4Climate&People and includes Tuntiak Katan from the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin, Dolores de Jesus Cabnal Coc from the Network of Indigenous Women on Biodiversity in Latin America & the Caribbean, Victoria Tauli-Corpuz, from an indigenous leader from the Philippines, and Raymond Samndong from the Tenure Facility.
