Event Details

Join us for our second Galloway Footsteps event! This is part of a series of four online events where we’ll find out how the individual choices we all make can add up to important effects.

In this June event, ‘What We Eat’, we’ll hear from our key speaker, Abi Mordin from ‘Hidden Veg’ and ‘Propagate’, about how our decisions about where we source our food from can make a real difference.

Carys Mainprize from the Crichton Carbon Centre will also be filling us in on the facts and figures behind different forms of food production and their environmental implication, to help you make informed choices.

We’re running these sessions in partnership with Giki – a fun and interactive way to measure and then improve your carbon footprint. Let’s see what a difference Team Galloway can make!

You don’t need to have attended the first session in this programme (What We Buy) to come along to this one, but if you’d like to catch up, you can see the full recording of that event on the Galloway Glens YouTube channel. The events are held over Zoom.
