A restorative session of gentle movement and mindfulness for the Summer season.

About this event

Join Boundary Way Project for a seasonally themed mindfulness, meditation & wellbeing session with artist and meditation tutor Clare Wassermann.

The theme for this session is the Sun, as Summer is underway and the earth is warming. The session will consist of guided gentle movement and meditation with prompts relating to the Summer season and Boundary Way.

Before the session you may wish to think about what is flowering in your garden or on your travels around your neighbourhood that you can visualise during the class. You may like to have a small jar of flowers with you for this workshop but it is not essential.

What you will need for the session

There will be some gentle movement which can be done standing or seated if you prefer. Room to swing your arms a bit will be useful, as will a place to lie down for a deep relaxation, but again this could be done seated.

Bring along a blanket to keep warm when you are being still and a cushion/pillow or two would be useful. If you have a yoga mat or folded blanket to lie on the floor on this would be good but not essential. Please also bring a drink of water.

People report feeling calmer after sessions, more focused in the mind and often have a good night’s sleep.

Do join – small acts of kindness to ourselves are important.
