All are welcome to join this international project and produce textile panels illustrating what is at stake and what people around the world are already doing. The project can nurture those already engaged with climate action, others to get involved, one step at a time, and help build community and political will for change. The project can share oncrete examples of what is happening and what people are doing, including to people who might not otherwise engage much with the issues.
We plan to exhibit the panels in Glasgow in November, so even if you can’t travel , your panel can come by post (to be received by September) … and it can also go on tour afterwards.
This online workshop will help you get you started on making a textile panel. Advance booking is essential: Please email [email protected] for the Zoom link. You’ll be invited to do a little preparation from home in advance of the event though this is not essential.
