Join us to hear all about Granton Goes Greener. Set up in 2018 by Granton Parish Church following an award from the Climate Challenge Fund, the north Edinburgh project looked at ways to reduce CO2 emissions within their existing buildings and to work with the local community of Granton to ‘Go Greener’.
Granton Goes Greener now provides a clothes swap, “Share ‘n’ wear” and redistributes surplus food from FareShare. This inspiring climate project has also been doing lots of outreach like family fun days, Christmas fayres, sewing classes, mental health support groups and more. In recent months Granton Goes Greener has also adapted well to the challenges presented by COVID-19.
