Overview:
Following on from the issues raised at the 1st meeting of the Greater Glasgow CLimate Action Network:
• Collaboration, communication, connections
• Diversity, inclusivity and access
• Responsibility and accountability
• Power
This session aims to offer a selection of tools which may be helpful resources to support improvements and developments in these areas and support a compassionate response to ourselves, each other and the planet. These tools include:
The Jigsaw toolkit to support sharing visions for climate action across diverse stakeholders, also how it can be used to support our own wellbeing and self- care
Introduction to network weaving to support collaboration and inclusivity
Introduction to liberating structures as tools which can be used to create safer more compassionate spaces to have the courageous conversations needed to support change
The session will be a mixture of presentation of the tools and an opportunity to work in groups and try them out. There will be a follow up report from the session and copies of the tools shared for those attending to use in their own communities and for their own wellbeing
This session is free thanks to funding from the Community Learning Exchange and will be held on Wednesday 17th of November 9.30-12, hosted by COPE Scotland. This is YOUR session, so if there are other specific areas you want covered let us know as its working together, learning together, sharing together, we can be the change the world needs to see
