Growing a Church Orchard in Scotland
Monday 14 June 2021
7.30pm – 8.30pm

Church orchards come in all shapes and sizes. From a few trees at the edge of the church building to making use of undeveloped land in your community, with a bit of time and imagination an orchard is possible.
Join us on Monday evening to hear the inspiring stories of four Scottish congregations who have planted their own orchards through a twinning project with churches in Hungary:
- Colston Milton Parish Church in north Glasgow
- Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh
- Newton Means Baptist Church to the south of Glasgow
- St Ninian’s Scottish Episcopal Church, Comely Bank in Edinburgh
The twinning project saw The Church of Scotland and Reformed Church in Hungary lead work in partnership with Ökogyülekezeti Mozgalom (Eco-Congregation Hungary), Eco-Congregation Scotland, training from a UK charity The Orchard Project and funding from the European Christian Environment Network (ECEN). You can read more online.
