Event Details

Everything we do, everything we buy, and everything we use has an impact on our planet. In fact, around 80% of Scotland’s carbon footprint comes from consumption. How can we all help to end the climate crisis by wasting less?

What will the session cover?

In this online session, Miriam from Zero Waste Scotland will be talking about some of the key ways that all of us can reduce waste whilst saving money.

We’ll also have a discussion on how community groups can help encourage and facilitate that action for maximum benefit to the environment and our pockets.

Please come share your ideas and what you are already doing in your community in this area!

Two options to attend

There are two alternative options for this session, one will take place over lunchtime and one during early evening. The content covered will be the same… but the discussion might be different!

Fife Communities Climate Action Network

Fife Climate Hub empowers community-led action on the climate crisis. We build capacity of existing community groups working on climate and deliver stronger collaboration between them. We reach beyond the climate engaged to grow a diverse network across Fife. We provide a voice for our members to influence local and national policy. Together we are driving change and strengthening climate resilience in Fife.
