Activism and wider forms of engagement with climate change can pose challenging personal life questions. The Quaker tradition has evolved a way of group discernment by which individuals can be helped in seeking “clearness” around such difficult life issues. People in many social movements have found such Meetings for Clearness to be useful. This half-day workshop will teach how to hold such a meeting, including small group practice sessions. There are options for Zoom attendance and in-person at the Glasgow Quaker meeting house which is one mile from the COP 26 campus. The workshop is free and is offered by Glasgow Quakers Verene Nicolas and Alastair McIntosh (author of “Riders on the Storm: Climate Change and the Survival of Being”, Birlinn, 2020). Workshop options are on 4th or 8th Nov (in English), and 7th Nov (in French). Full details are on the registration landing page: https://bit.ly/Qclearness
