Event Details

International Inuit Day is celebrated every November 7th by the 180,000 Inuit across Inuit Nunaat (Inuit homelands). This year, join Inuit in Glasgow to celebrate this day with panel discussions, film screenings, cultural performances, and more. The Inuit Circumpolar Council (inuitcircumpolar.com) will host activities throughout the day on November 7th at Strathclyde University with the generous support of the Scottish Government.

We are working with After the Pandemic and that in the evening we are having a Cultural Exchange Musical Mash-up and hosting a ceilidh with Inuit throat singers, drum dancers, storytellers and Scottish artists. Join us to celebrate the richness and resilience of Inuit culture and engage in exchanges between Inuit and our Scottish hosts!
