Over the last year, being able to access green spaces and connect to nature has been more important than ever. Green spaces provide multiple benefits to local communities and wider society, and for those living in cities and towns, these places can provide essential places for relaxation, exercise and connecting to nature.
We’ll be joined by a panel of experts – including speakers from The Land Trust, Dundee Green Health Partnership and The Habitat People – who will set out the social, environmental and economic case for prioritising green space in our urban environments and strategies for how this can be achieved.
This event also brings together members of the community together with their local politicians to set out their vision for nature in Aberdeen and ensure the city’s commitment to tackling climate change.
Register your place today and get involved in reimagining the role of green spaces and nature in Aberdeen!
