This panel discussion, followed by a networking reception, will present examples of how changes to how we produce, manage and think about food are already transforming lives in Scotland, in Zambia and across the world. It will be an occasion to learn about practices, policies and funding in this area, the human story of food and climate, and how a just transition in food and farming can transform livelihoods across the world.
The panel will include experts on sustainable agriculture from Scotland and Zambia, alongside UK and EU policy experts explaining how support for action in this area needs to increase. The panel will also include opening remarks from Scotland’s Minister for Culture, Europe and International Development, Jenny Gilruth, alongside Chief Executives from Nourish Scotland and SCIAF.
