Dr. Anna Schulz serves as the head of the Global Climate Law, Policy and Governance Programme at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), she is also the principal legal and strategic advisor to the Chair of the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group in the UN Climate negotiations.

She has over ten years of experience following the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations, first as a writer and team leader for the Earth Negotiations Bulletin (ENB) and then supporting the LDC Group as a technical advisor in the transparency negotiations with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). Dr. Schulz has an MALD and Ph.D. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in international environmental policy and negotiation and conflict resolution, and an LL.M. from the University of Dundee in International and Comparative Water Law.
