Loving Earth Project workshop

What do you love? How will your actions and choices affect its future in the face of the climate crisis? The Loving Earth Project aims to help people engage with the big questions without being overwhelmed, to celebrate, inform and encourage action inspired by love.   We hope to bring textile panels (and accompanying texts) from all over the world to Glasgow in the autumn, and to tour widely thereafter. 

This free Zoom event will get you started on making a textile panel in any style (but of a standard 30x30cm size), to contribute to the international community textile project. All are welcome to this workshop, whatever your level of textile skills. 

You’ll be invited to do a little preparation from home in advance of the event though this is not essential and will be welcome to join our online chats for panel makers as your panel progresses, if you like. Our website website has a range of materials to enable individuals and groups to join the project and displays some of the  panels already made.
