Mushroom Foraging Walk in Callander

Join professional foragers Graham and Christine Whitehouse from Whitehouse Foraging for this mushroom identification event. We will be walking through woodland (mainly on tracks) looking at the environment where you can find mushrooms. We will look at how to identify them and how to use them. Of course, the environment and previous days’ weather will determine whether there is an abundance or not, but we are usually successful.

We will walk whatever the weather so please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear. This walk is open to all but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children. Numbers limited to 12 per session. There are two sessions, one starting at 10:30am and other at 1:00PM.
