Let’s make the challenge easier to face, more achievable, perhaps even enjoyable, by coming together to build local communities that are more than the sum of their parts.
‘Not Without Us‘ (12 , 72mins) is a documentary that follows grassroots COP campaigners harnessing the power of the will of the people, perhaps the only force that can prevent catastrophic climate change.
The free screening will be followed by an open discussion and airing of ideas on what we can do, and what aiming for Net Zero might mean to us as a community.
We aim to make useful connections, stimulate action and inspire people to develop local community group action. Together, we can get things done!
It’s time to act, individually, as communities and at higher levels. How can we influence the City Council’s developing 2030 Climate Strategy for Edinburgh?
All that, and refreshments too – quite a night out?!
This event is brought to you by members of the local community in the Leamington Terrace area and with the assistance of the ‘What The COP?‘ initiative of the Take One Action Film Festival (23rd – 26th September in Edinburgh and Glasgow).
