Even in Scotland’s biggest city there are some amazing green spaces which offer a home for nature.

Whether you live in a city, town or the countryside our green spaces and how we care for them is so important.

Come and join us as we hear from Stuart Whittaker, Community Woodland Officer for Castlemilk Park in Glasgow.

Employed by Cassiltoun Housing Association, Stuart will be giving a presentation on Castlemilk Park, its wildlife and biodiversity and how the community of Castlemilk in south Glasgow are at the very heart of the Castlemilk Park Project.

This also includes an interesting presentation on bats which will tell some amazing facts of their ecology, how you may be able to see them and also will show why bats are so important to the environment.
