The new chair of Perth City Leadership Forum, Mike Robinson, has long held the vision that Perth could become the “most sustainable small city’ in Europe. This second part of our online conference will bring Perth’s biggest employers, local companies, local organisations, community groups, our Local Authority and national partners to advance this vision and help to deliver the Perth City Plan and our ambition to be Scotland’s first carbon neutral city by 2040. This second part is focused on the morning of Friday 4th of December from 09.00 to 12.30 when delegates will listen to keynote addresses, take part in workshops and participate in a panel session.
The main programme of keynote addresses, workshops and panel discussion runs between 09.00 and 12.30 on Friday 4th December. The event is open on Thursday 3rd Dec for delegates to check their registration, familiarise themselves with the Hopin platform and visit the Expo Booths. Conference organisers will be on hand to help with any tech support and answer any questions. The event will remain live until 17.00 on Saturday the 6th Dec for delegates to come back in to network, hold their own sessions and explore Expo Booths they didn’t have time to look at earlier.
Inspired by the wealth of European examples who participated in the first part of the conference on the 6th of November, the second part will focus on practical, hands on workshops to advance key themes for Perth’s sustainable future. These will include innovation, transport, placemaking, food, environment, energy, resources, waste and fairness among other topics. Recordings and Expo Booths covering all the European examples showcased on the 6th November will be available to all delegates at the online event and in advance on the conference website.
