Event Details

Concept –

Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. Playback Theatre was started by Jonathan Fox and Jo Salas in USA in the year 1975.

The Theme – “Voices of Mother Earth”- We will invite

The event will invite experiences and stories from the audience/ spectators through a guided facilitative process by the conductor of the conversation/roundtable. A safe space is created to honour each sharing and story.

When we share our stories, it creates a space of richer wisdom, a space of same- ness, a space of empathy! The container becomes a rich pot of diverse voices, with each voice creating a beautiful choice of possibility.

(Playback Theatre is an improvisational form of theatre wherein the actors play live stories from the audience member then and there!)

Duration – 60 mins

Performed by Rangbhumi , an Applied Theatre organisation
