#PollutionisPants

In the lead up to COP26 I think there are so many good choices that we are already making that we should feel good about and try to do more of. Second-hand/upcycled/swapped clothing is one of them. #PollutionisPants wants you to put on your favourite second-hand clothes, pop a pair of undies on your bonce, and thank the charity shop/retailer/swap event organiser/friend you got them from by taking a selfie and posting it online. The ‘pants’ bit of #PollutionisPants refers to the fact that pants are one of the very few items you can’t get second-hand – no quibbles there – and the ‘pollution’ bit to the fact that so much wearable clothing ends up in landfills or in polluting incinerators. Dig out your favourite second-hand clothes and get snapping.
