Covid-19 has exposed the many fault-lines in our food system. How can we ensure that recovery is founded in human rights, with social and environmental justice at its heart? Why should the Right to Food be incorporated into Scots law?
Join us for a 2hr interactive workshop where we will:
- Develop an understanding of the Right to Food
- Explore what the Right to Food could mean for different actors in our food system
- Learn about and engage with MSP Elaine Smith’s public consultation. In particular we will be interrogating the main practical advantages and disadvantages of the proposed bill to enshrine the Right to Food in Scots law
No prior knowledge is required.
