Site of the Pollok Free State Tour

Anyone who wants to learn about the history of environmental protesting in Glasgow is invited to come along and see where the Free State was. Hear about how we organised before mobile phones and the internet. Enjoy a low stress afternoon in the woods.

Assemble 2pm at the corner of Fairchild Avenue and Barrhead Road, then walk 200m to the site. This is very close to the Silverburn Shopping Centre.

Wear sturdy footwear. As this is a one off event with no resources it’s not wheelchair accessible.
