Event Details

This hybrid workshop aims to illustrate how soil is formed, the dynamics of nutrient cycling, and how global nutrient cycles have been heavily changed since the industrial revolution in the 18th century. Participants will learn about soil types, how it develops and what we can do to repair our ecological and spiritual rift with soil.

Led by our experts Mark Hanlon and Jac Reichel, you’ll be led through the journey of what our soil has been through over the last few hundred years and what we can do to heal some of the damage.

This workshop will occur in an outdoor setting, please dress appropriately for the weather. We ask that everyone maintains social distancing throughout. We are requesting that all participants have taken a lateral flow test with a negative result prior to attending.

The Food & Climate Action project is funded by The National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
