About this Event
Just because a company is offsetting their carbon does not mean they are sustainable or ethical. Greenwashing is used as a PR strategy to convey a false impression and to provide misleading information about how a company’s products are environmentally sound.
In this panel discussion, you will be diving into the panelist’s founder journeys, what buzzwords like “eco-friendly” and “sustainable” actually mean, how consumers can tell the difference between what is the truth and what is simply spin, and finally it will examine government policy and how to take actions to fight climate change to protect our shared earth.
These topics will be discussed with Namrata Sandhu, Co-Founder of Vaayu, Alina Bassi, Founder of Kleiderly, Lubomila Jordanova, Co-Founder of PlanA, moderated by James Balzer, Visiting Fellow at the International Sustainable Finance Centre.
