Giving voice, listening, considering, observing, promoting autonomy: all these verbs are part of the same concern, recognizing the child as a full individual, capable and endowed with subjectivities that make them a legitimate social actor; that is, the subject of rights. When it comes to the climate crisis, children are rarely included in the debate: they are always placed in the “future”. Therefore, in this panel, we will present the impacts of the emergency climate on the multiple childhoods of Brazil from the children’s voice. What do they understand, what do they think and how do they feel?
