About this Event

On 27th February, the Weekend Club is collaborating with the RSPB – the UK’s largest nature conservation charity – for an event called Brilliant Birds. Join us to learn how to identify the birds you see from your window or in your local park in Glasgow, explore the link between connecting with nature and our mental health and share stories of the wildlife we grew up around. The event will be interactive: there will be a quiz, activities for kids and the opportunity to share your own stories.

When you register, we will ask you for your home address so that we can send you a bird identification sheet and some coloured pencils. When you receive them, you can start identifying and drawing the birds in your area.

As always, the event will be free and open to everyone – people from refugee backgrounds and anyone else who would like to attend. Data top-ups will also be available for those who do not have access to WiFi. Please join us!

Please note that there is a lot of interest in this event. If you can’t attend, please let us know by texting 07511 044814.
