Under the Bridge

It started in lockdown.
Classically trained musician Sarah Wagner came to After the Pandemic with the idea to play classical music on some vacant, derelict or otherwise forgotten land.
After the Pandemic had in turn had its eye on the huge, cathedral-like space under the Kingston Bridge overpass…
The result was ‘Under the Bridge’ – a four part performance/video project filmed during the 2020/1 lockdowns and featuring Sarah and a host of other musicians (https://vimeo.com/472234056)

Now – as COP26 comes to town, we’re excited to take the Under the Bridge Ensemble to a real cathedral – Glasgow’s own spectacular medieval masterpiece – with whom we are delighted to partner to stage this one-off event as part of After the Pandemic @ COP26.

The ensemble will perform Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in full in what is bound to be one of the most memorable and atmospheric recitals staged anywhere in the city during COP26, and at a time when we are all considering what might become of the seasons themselves without drastic and urgent action.
