Homestay Network

It’s impossible to find affordable accommodation in Glasgow around the time of COP (31 Oct-12 Nov). This is a huge obstacle for less-resourced people coming to the city this autumn, for example those from Global South countries.

The COP26 Homestay Network is a platform which is combating this so those whose voices need to be heard the most at this crucial UN Climate Conference will be able to come to Glasgow. Over 1,000 people have already signed up to host a guest, but we still need your help as there is a big waiting list!

If you have a spare room or a sofa-bed within Glasgow or the Central Belt, why not offer a place to stay to visiting guests during COP? It’s an amazing opportunity to have a direct link to COP and supporting the climate justice movement whilst giving a genuine, warm Scottish welcome to visitors.
