Sustrans Scotland Communities Team are hosting this practical workshop examining the impact of the cost of living
Sustrans Scotland Communities Team are hosting this practical workshop examining the impact of the cost of living crisis on our travel choices and behaviours. Not just as individuals, but for the communities we live in.
We will cover:
• Who is most impacted by increased travel costs.
• The implications for existing inequalities.
• Other factors that influence how people move around their local areas
• The total and real costs of different forms of transport.
• How some of these issues are being addressed by communities around Scotland
• How Sustrans can help you take action in your area.
There will be plenty of opportunity for interaction through discussion and activities. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements and we will do our best to accommodate these before, during and after the session.
The session will be held on Microsoft Teams. A link will be sent to you when you register for the event.
This event is part of a three-part Community and Active Travel series:
• Cost of Living, Community and Active Travel
• Climate, Community and Active Travel
• Cars, Community and Active Travel
