The upcoming local authority elections will be crucial in ensuring Scotland is able to tackle the ongoing climate crisis.

Friends of the Earth Scotland is hosting a hustings event for members of the public in Aberdeen to come along and question party representatives on how they will act with urgency to tackle the climate crisis.

 

Who: Representatives have been invited from Scottish Labour, Scottish Conservatives, The SNP, The Scottish Greens, and the Scottish Liberal-Democrats.

Where: The Music Hall, Union Street, Aberdeen

When: 7-9pm, Wednesday 20th of April.

Staying Covid Safe: Out of care for others and to minimise the spread of the virus we encourage those attending to:

Take a lateral flow test and only to attend if the result is negative.

Wear a mask, unless exempt. Masks may be removed for eating and drinking.

Maintain 1 metre physical distancing where possible.

Be fully vaccinated, unless medically excempt.
