The aim of the Festival is to encourage folk to create less food waste. We will have an apple press, cooking demonstration (using leftovers), short video presentations, the Community Larder, a garden produce swap shop, food saving tips and food waste quiz. Zero Waste Scotland’s ‘Good to Go’ scheme will also be launched in restaurants around the town.
