Event Details

The climate crisis is one of the biggest threats to mental health, with research showing that 75% of young people believe that the future is frightening. As campaigners we are disproportionately aware of climate threats and how they affect people around the world, which can lead to burn-out, anxiety and other mental health issues.

In this training, climate psychologist Jessica Kleczka will cover how the climate crisis affects our mental health in different ways, and share coping strategies to maintain wellbeing and healthy boundaries as an activist.

Please note that the facilitator is not a mental health professional and the strategies outlined in this training are not a substitute for therapy. If you feel like you can’t cope with climate anxiety or other mental health issues, please seek professional help. Resources will be shared after the training.
