The Future is Not F*cked is a documentary made in Aberdeen in late 2021 by Sara Stroud. Performers from the North East of Scotland start to answer the question ‘how do we let go of the world of oil and all it represents?’Through an infusion of live performance, interviews and cityscape, this film attempts to tell the stories of how oil seeps deep into the lives, aspirations and personal relationships of people living and working in Aberdeen and beyond.
After showing the two films, there will be a chance to discuss the issues they raise.
