Event Details

The transition to a zero carbon economy requires a transformation in jobs in the energy, construction and insulation sectors, and many more people skilled in sustainability issues. Already there are problems finding enough skilled people to start the transition. Three speakers will help you understand where Scotland is on the journey to train people for those jobs. Speakers are

Lorna Slater, MSP, Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity

Allison Carrington, Skills Development College

Greg Steel, Borders College.

Each will talk for about 15 minutes and then there will be chance for the audience to ask questions.

So please come along in person or online and find out more.
